Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Beaune 2012
Varietal: Pinot Noir
The vines for this wine enjoy an eastern, south-eastern exposure to the sun, on the picturesque hillsides of the Hautes-Cotes de Beaune.
This bright and lively wine drinks beautifully now, and will improve with some short to medium-term cellaring. Light to medium-bodied, the nose displays fresh strawberry notes with balanced acidity, and the palate shows soft and supple tannins.
“A light and dusty, zesty and fresh Bourgogne rouge, with grippy tannins and tart acids. Perfectly serviceable, entry-level pinot noir. Tasted April 2015. Value Rating: *1/2” - 87 pts (John Szabo, WineAlign.com, April 2015)
$25.95 retail per bottle (12/case).
